After the 26th successful CANCAM conference held in Victoria in 2017, the Mechanical Engineering Department at Université de Sherbrooke is pleased to invite you to the 27th CANCAM conference to be held in Sherbrooke (QC) between the 27th and 30th of May 2019 for a very promising conference. It will be a unique opportunity for national and international Mechanical Engineering experts (students, professors, researchers and engineers) to have fruitful discussions, exchange information and present new results in one of the following research areas:

Thermo-Fluids Related: Aerodynamics; Combustion; Compressible Flows; Computational Fluid Dynamics; Fluid-Structure Interactions; Instability and Transition; Geophysical and Environmental Fluid Dynamics; Granular flows; Heat and mass transfers; Micro- and Nano-fluidics; Multiphase Flows; Non-Newtonian Fluids; Renewable Energy Systems; Turbulence...

Solid Mechanics Related: Biomechanics; Computational Solid Mechanics; Damage/Fracture; Elasticity/Plasticity; Geophysics and Geomechanics; Impact Mechanics and Wave Propagation; Materials and Composites; Multibody Dynamics; Nanostructures and MEMS; Non-linear and Stochastic Mechanics; Structures; Tribology; Vibrations...

Other Topics: Acoustics; Advanced Manufacturing; Education in Mechanics; Mechatronics and Control Systems; Porous Media; Robotics...

Along with the CANCAM conference, dedicated mini-symposia will focus on specific topics:

  • Symposiun on Respiratory Flows
